Education

Ms. Sung Yu Chen graduated from the Department of Law at National Taipei University. During her master’s studies at the Graduate Institute of National Development, National Taiwan University, she pursued interdisciplinary coursework in law relating to an aging society, bioethics, and intellectual property. She also served as a part-time research assistant for the “AI Humanities and Legal Infrastructure Project,” where she conducted extensive research on interdisciplinary legal issues and intellectual property law.

Prior to joining Lin & Partners, Ms. Sung worked at the Taiwan Taipei District Court as a judicial assistant in the Civil Division, assisting judges with the review and organization of facts and the preparation of civil judgments. This experience provided her with substantial practical exposure to civil litigation.

Ms. Sung currently handles construction-related litigation matters for various government agencies and state-owned enterprises, including the Railway Bureau, MOTC, the Air Navigation and Weather Services, CAA, MOTC, and Taoyuan International Airport Corporation. She has practical experience in handling legal matters involving public construction projects, including disputes arising from the performance of public construction contracts and claims for construction payments.
