Lin & Partners, a leading Taiwan law firm to global corporations, financial institutions, and government agencies, announced today that Taiwan’s Aerospace Industrial Development Corporation (AIDC), previously known as the Aero Industry Development Center, has appointed Lin & Partners to its external counsel panel.

Lin & Partners was selected following a competitive process among global and local law firms. Partner Christy Chen will lead the engagement.

AIDC, founded in 1969, originally focused solely on military applications but has since expanded into aircraft system integration, aircraft development, parts manufacturing, aircraft assembly, testing and verification. AIDC plans to list on the Taiwan Stock Exchange later this year.

“We are proud to be appointed again as a panel law firm for AIDC. The aircraft industry in Taiwan will be expanding rapidly, and this appointment compliments are already existing capabilities in heavy rail, light rail, roads and other infrastructure projects,” said managing partner Dr. George Lin.
