Latest News of the International Conference on the Gaming Act of Taiwan

    In May 2010, the Ministry of Transportation and Communications, R.O.C. (the “MOTC”), officially commissioned Lin & Partners to assist the government in drafting a bill that provides the legal foundation for gaming operations and regulations in Taiwan. Led by Taiwan’s visionary leader Professor Paul Hsu, Dr. Lawrence Wong, and Managing Partner Dr. George Lin, the legal team has prepared a gaming regulatory proposal that reflects current international gaming standards and is ready for viewing. Accredited by the MOTC, Lin & Partners sincerely invites you to the International Conference on the Gaming Act of Taiwan, on June 3rd, 2011, in Taipei, Taiwan.

   The gaming law event offers a dynamic venue that allows conversations and commentaries between invited guests and speakers. Topics range from the application of gaming license, taxation and fees, responsible gaming, gaming machines and equipments, and other important related matters. Attendants include internationally known scholars in gaming, senior law practitioners, government officials, gaming operators, gaming manufacturers, as well as other industry leaders.
